Easy To Play Stag Games & Tasks
To make sure the whole stag event is much more than a night out with the lads get some games and tasks involved! Not only do they make the night that little bit different, they are also great for making and strengthening bonds within the group! To help you on your way we have put a list of our favourite games and tasks to play on a stag and we hope you enjoy them too!
The Game of Names
The stag writes down the first names of all of the woman he has ever gone on a date with (or you can have different criteria if you wish), this list is then circulated among the group. As the evening wears on the group can ask various women their names, if the names are on the list then everybody has to down a shot or finish their drink. Because it’s a stag night game you can of course modify it so that if the woman’s name is not on the list the groom to be downs a shot and if it is, the rest of the group do, of course you may want to assess just how many names are on that list before implementing this rule.
I never
This is an old one but a great game for stag weekends; the group take it turn to announce something they have never done, every remaining member of the group who has done this then takes a drink or downs a shot. Again, we can change this around so that when it is the stag’s turn he has to announce something which he actually has done and everybody who hasn’t done that takes a drink.
Single Man
A great way to remind the main man that he isn’t hitched just yet. The basic idea is that throughout the night any mention of the forthcoming wedding from the groom to be is punished by downing a drink. You can make this as strict as you like to the point where the mere mention of his fiancé is also cause for punishment or you can amend the rules how you see fit.
Pub Golf
Put together a list of bars to visit, either a 9 or 18 bar course is traditional but in reality you can choose however many you want (people won’t usually make 18 bars anyway). Then select a handicap for each bar so 1,2 or 3 drinks in each bar, people can drink as much or as little as they want in each establishment, the aim is to simply complete the course. Bear in mind that an 18 hole course with a handicap of 3 drinks per bar is 54 drinks, we would not suggest or even advise this as an option, a 9 hole course averaging about 2 drinks is usually enough and don’t abuse people for drinking halves early on, chances are they’ll be strutting their stuff on the dance floor long after the "pints only" men are upside-down in a taxi covered in curry sauce.
Scavenger Hunt
As stag night tasks go this one is easy to create and customise yourself, simply put together a list of things for the stag to collect throughout the night, usual suggestions are things like a bra (of course they can give them back afterwards), condoms and a pair of glasses. Creating the rule that all items must come from a member of the opposite sex and can’t be purchased should make things a bit more interesting.
